A Soundtrack you might be interestied in is Armageddon. It isn’t new, from 1998. But it has some really great songs on there, including songs from Journey and Aerosmith.
Anything from Hanson, even though they aren’t in the spot light any more. They are having a new album coming out in the spring. But check out their old stuff too. They are amazing. My favorite band of all time.

I’m trying to find some songs on iTunes that sound like they are from medieval times. I have the Braveheart soundtrack and love it, but I need more. Like the music you’d find on some video games as the background music. Any suggestions?

Mark Sinclair’s "Baroque" from the album "K’nama" is available on i-tunes

it had bagpipes throughout the whole thing and some soft guitar in there, too. I think the song was in the braveheart soundtrack, but i could be mistaken. oh, and on that note, does anyone know any good bagpipe players or bands that you would recomend me purchasing? Im looking for something like the bagpipe sounds in braveheart sort of thing.

Well if you really want this stuff than don’t change the list at all. Just because it’s on there doesn’t mean that "Santa" will bring it to you. It really just more of a list of suggestions of things you would like. Anyways it is *your* list and its what *you* want that matters so it doesn’t really matter what anyone on Y!A thinks you should change.

I thought the soundtrack was all the music on a movie used in, but not composed specifically for, the movie. However, I recently received Philip Sheppard’s score to the documentary, In The Shadow of the Moon. Right there on the front of the cd case, it says, "Original Motion Picture Soundtrack".
I checked my Braveheart score and it says the same thing. Now I’m confused!
Could someone clear this up for me? I have great interest in movie music and also compose a little music myself. I would really like to be in the know on this. Thank you!

Score usually means music written specifically for the film/play, and is usually instrumental

yes, i agree, that the ll bean stuff, pandora jewlery, and guitar hero are a little pricey, but if you know where to shop the CD’s and DVD’s could only be as much as 5-10 dollars….

I am a 14 y/o girl, I am kind of preppy and girly. I love to read, I love riding and training horses, and i am very musical. I am already asking for a new cell phone w/ unlimited texting, a new music stand, new riding boots and gloves, and the complete works of Shakespeare and Dickens.

First, I’m just going to say that you don’t sound spoiled at all, in my opinion. Not by what you are asking for, anyway.

I think that what you are asking for sounds good. Everything isn’t very expensive, either (Other than the riding boots and stuff, but all of that is expensive anyway).

I’m asking for a new cell phone w/ unlimited texting, some DS games, iTunes gift cards (I’m telling all of my family to get me an iTunes card for Christmas, my mom is getting me one as well), clothes, shoes, books (I love to read), some games, etc etc.
