I really liked the songs in Braveheart, and I got the soundtrack but I can’t seem to find any more good songs.
What’s the difference between a bagpipe and a lawnmower?
Answer: You can tune a lawnmower.
Sorry, couldn’t resist. First of all, the music from "Braveheart" was written by movie soundtrack composer James Horner, who also wrote the soundtrack music for "Titantic", "The Mask of Zorro", and "Avatar"–among others. You might check those out.
For real tradtional Scottish music, you can go here–it’ll link to several different sites where you can listen and download various folk songs:
http://www.rampantscotland.com/songs/blsongs_index.htm
You can also locate a wide range of Scottish bagpipe music–including modern–here:
http://www.heartoscotland.com/Products/music.htm
Amazon.com also carries some of the same recordings.
And here:

There are even modern rock bands (from Scotland and elsewhere) that use bagpipes, but this is the classical section. If anything this kind of falls under "other".
I have ProTools, Reason, an Mbox 2, a martin acoustic (no pick-ups), a cheap bass guitar with no amp, studio headphones, studio monitors, and a cheap dynamic and condenser mic.
I am in the market for a keyboard with some really "epic" sounds (similar to movie soundtrack sounds like braveheart or some of the sounds dr dre uses for background) - not whiny plastic-sounding synth sounds. Basically I don’t want a midi controller, I want a keyboard with a built-in sound bank where I can manually adjust the sounds slightly with an on-board mixer or EQ of some sort.
I also want to know what else I will need as far as amps, mixers, etc. to be able to record acoustic guitar, vocals, bass, and keyboard onto my PC. - My budget is around 1000 or so for everything (used or new).
I don’t really know how to stay cheap, i noticed there are some old workstations like the triton and old motifs that are pretty cheap used that would maybe make it easier (or more complicated) with mixing and arranging tracks. Also, what exactly is the mbox2 for?
This should be of help to you with more info on that.

I have a new Blu-ray Surround Sound and i just want to know which films to get to show my system off, i already have Iron Man, War Of The Worlds and Braveheart and they all sound fantastic but which other films have great sound? Thanks.
There is a big discussion about this going on in the DIY section of the AVS Forum right now. Specifically the OP was looking for movies with a lot of 5 Hz ~ 15 Hz content. Some responses include spectrum data for some movies. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1294892
One I watched in my HT recently was, "How to Train Your Dragon". That really shook my room and my system is only good down to about 13 Hz. I think your WOTW disc is still one of the leading movies for 5 Hz content. Of course this all depends on your system capability, if you are using commercially available subs then movies with bass concentrated at slightly higher frequency may be better for you. Not many commercial subs can get much below 20 Hz, you really have to go DIY to get the most out of these movies.

I’m a season behind in UK
‘James MacMillan, widely hailed as the leading Scottish classical composer of his generation, told how a Catholic Church committee had antagonised musicians by demanding music "like the soundtracks of The Lord of the Rings and Braveheart".’

And why do i get them when i listen to some soundtrack music like braveheart and gladiator? and its even more intense when i am listening to something and then see a picture or video that goes with it. i also get them when i wake up from a nighmare, and i get them like CRAZY! why?
Useually goosebumps come into play when you feel immesurable admiration or inspiration i think it’s because the electrical pathways in the brain send signals to your body.
