Where can I find prop replica kits?

Posted by admin on January 9th, 2011 and filed under braveheart sword | 1 Comment »

I searched on the internet for prop replica kits. I found prop replicas for sale, with the tag "I built this from a kit," but no clues to where I can buy the kits! I am interested in anything from Braveheart swords to ray guns from science fiction movies. Any help would be appreciated!

No luck in finding a kit for a William Wallace sword. Here is a list of replicas available in a wide variety of price ranges http://info.com/searchw?qkw=braveheart+sword+replica+kit&qcat=web&q=braveheart+sword+replica+kit&qhqn=braveheart+sword+replica+kit&KW=braveheart+sword+replica+kit

Here is a replica ray gun - but again not a kit - only $10 you could probably use it as a base and add to it - http://www.coolstuffexpress.com/ray-gun-blaster-replica.html

This is a kit - Forbidden Planet RAY GUN Blaster - needs assembly / painting about 70 euros http://www.frontiermodels.co.uk/Forbidden-Planet-RAY-GUN-Blaster-p-18305.html

This one is a detailed explanation of a Sand cast aluminum ray gun, with bonus pour vid

This is a Lawgiver Gun Prop Replica Model Hobby Kit - This is Judge Dredd’s Lawgiver gun taken from the movie prop mold. This is static one piece gun with no moving parts. Requires minimal cleanup and painting skills. about $60 http://www.monstersinmotion.com/cart/sci-fi-as-in-science-fiction-item-list-k-o-c-9_187/lawgiver-gun-prop-replica-model-hobby-kit-p-5012
