    Ninja assassin for SURE.

The only problem with ninja assassin is its not that good of a storyline. There is like 50 *bloody* fight scenes.

you’ve named some of the best. here are a few more:

    Spartacus
    The Vikings
    Conan the Barbarian
    Conan the Destroyer
    The Three Muskateers
    The Adventures of Robin Hood
    The Mask of Zorro
I think there’s some in Master and Commander

    some non-ancient civilization sword fighting–
    Highlander
    Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
    The Seven Samuraii

and there’s usually some swordplay in the old Harryhausen epics:
Jason and the Argonauts (at the very least, Jason vs. Skeletons with swords)
Clash of the Titans (Parseus vs. the furies, calabas, medusa, scorpions, snake, two-headed dog–or is it three?)
The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad–sinbad vs cyclops)
