ok feel free to email me i would love to have som extra help. ok i hate shakesphere and were reading it in english and Antony makes a speech trying to tell the croud of ppl to join the battle. i have to write 15 lines making up my own speech using the shakesphere language. here is the exact assignment: inspiring the troops..Compose a ‘pep talk’ to be delivered just before the battle by one of the four generals. make sure it is characteristic of that leader. sum up what the soldiers are fighting for in stirring phrases(think braveheart and gladiator). try to use the language shakesphere would have used in his play. write at least 15 lines for your ‘pep talk’.
PLEASE PLEASE help me!!!, email me your answer if you like just please help me at least put a couple lines antony would have said to the croud.. they dont even have to be that long i just am really bad at shakesphere ad im kinda failing this would bring my grade up thank you!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D
Sorry haha i am blonde lol…my email is sexygirlxoxo69@ymail.com
thank u so much you should email me for some more help^^

I grin as I write this, but it obviously hasn’t occurred to you yet that you neglected to include your e-mail data. Now, here’s what I don’t get: How can someone who wrote these sentiments ("Love is an attempt to change a piece of a dream world into reality…") NOT like Shakespeare? It seems like you’d be a natural. Anyway, let me do a little reading first and I will write back soon. I’ve had some experience rallying troops; I just need to transpose that into Elizabethan language. (In the meantime, fix that e-mail situation).

how can i transform my garden to look like a scene from braveheart?

Posted by admin on March 24th, 2011 and filed under braveheart | 2 Comments »

my son is in the gala and the garden has to be "dressed up" he has chosen a braveheart theme but i am stumped! i need ideas

Hmm! This sounds fun! I don’t know much about gardening..but I loved Braveheart.

Since the movie took place in the hills of Scotland, that is pretty much the inspiration. I’d go with large boulder-size silvery rocks, a lot of green grass and large trees, and I can even imagine a handmade wooden 4 post canopy with big fluff square pillows and cream canvas hanging from it…adding wood, cloth, greenery, and maybe even some metal pieces (to duplicate the steel shields and swords) would be ideal. I hope this helps get the juices flowing!

Braveheart VS King’s Speech…Your pick would be?

here are mine

Kingdom of Heaven
Braveheart
Troy
Mongol:The Rise of Genghis Khan
Robin Hood

what are yours?
i forgot to mention these

Master and Commander:The Far Side of the World
The Last Samurai

Gladiator < the reason why I started to like Russel Crowe
Lord of the Rings < I am now reading the books I loved the films
The Last Samurai

I <3 Master & Commander and I usually hate films set in that time period.

In the movie Braveheart, Mel Gibson yells a battle cry that is something like Abla Kapla. What does it mean?

Also, what is the phrase?

A question that falls right into my bailiwick.

Wallace shouts "Alba gu bràth" which in Gaelic means "Scotland until judgment" or roughly "Scotland Forever". I am inclined to say that Sean Connery may have this tattooed on his arm?

Edit: That is Scottish Gaelic as opposed to Irish Gaelic

Im doing a report about how some scenes where the movie Braveheart is inaccurate but im using examples from?

Posted by admin on March 8th, 2011 and filed under braveheart movie | 2 Comments »

sources on the internet like wikipedia do i need to site the source of where i got the information from or do i just write why it was inaccurate

Better question then that regarding why your reporting about these things in a "movie" that I’m pretty sure is just that a movie, not a documentary…..right. I think your a little confused regarding what’s just a story and what’s reality. I’m pretty sure Braveheart never based the movie on facts, even though it took you through a certain time in history. So what’s the point on your report? Why not make a report about all the movies that have got innaccurate facts in them regarding history instead of just picking on one movie.

Just one more reason why its important to pay attention during history class.
