what does this quote from the movie Braveheart mean?

"It’s our wits that make us men."
what does this mean?^ it is used when young william wants to fight, but his uncle says that he will have to learn to use his head before he can wield a sword. I really really need this question answered!! what does this mean?!

Anyone can fight in a brawl. The man who will survive is the one who is capable of using his brains to overcome his opponent. Anyone can be beaten if you can anticipate their moves or strategies and stay ahead of them or successfully distract them. Our "wits" are our best friends when we find ourselves in a treacherous situation.

Why do we get goosebumps?

And why do i get them when i listen to some soundtrack music like braveheart and gladiator? and its even more intense when i am listening to something and then see a picture or video that goes with it. i also get them when i wake up from a nighmare, and i get them like CRAZY! why?

Useually goosebumps come into play when you feel immesurable admiration or inspiration i think it’s because the electrical pathways in the brain send signals to your body.
